Project Manager — Concrete Tilt-Up

This is not a general PM role — we are specifically seeking a candidate who has managed concrete tilt-up construction projects and knows the methodology inside and out. If that’s you, keep reading.
ICE Group of Companies is a diversified general contractor based in Langley, BC. We deliver results on time, on budget, and above expectations — and we’re growing. You’ll report directly to the Director of Construction and work alongside our Site Superintendent and Project Coordinator. We are shortlisting candidates now to ensure we have the right person ahead of construction commencing late Q2/Q3 2026.
We work across a wide range of project types — concrete tilt-up, mixed-use, condos, steel industrial buildings, and wood frame — so this is a role with real variety and long-term opportunity. The immediate project is a concrete tilt-up, but the pipeline is full and diverse.
📋 What you’ll be responsible for:
✅ Leading pre-construction planning —ating, securing permits, conducting risk assessments, and building project schedules
✅ Evaluating bids, negotiating with trades and suppliers, issuing purchase orders, and managing subtrade contracts
✅ Running project start-up meetings with internal teams, clients, consultants, and trades
✅ Managing project execution — processing invoices, approving timesheets, submitting progress claims, and collecting payments
✅ Monitoring and controlling project schedules and budgets, issuing change orders, and flagging risks to senior management
✅ Ensuring WorkSafe BC and OH&S compliance on-site through the Construction Safety Officer
✅ Producing monthly cost and progress reports covering schedule, quality control, and financial performance
✅ Overseeing project close-out — documentation, permits, final invoices, holdback releases, and lessons learned
🎯 What we’re looking for:
🔹 Concrete tilt-up experience — 5+ years required. This is a must-have for the immediate project
🔹 Broad commercial construction experience across mixed-use, condo, steel industrial, and wood frame projects is a strong advantage
🔹 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction
🔹 Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
🔹 Proficiency in Procore, SAGE, and Microsoft Office Suite
🔹 Strong skills in contract management, budget control, and stakeholder communication
🔹 Excellent negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
🔹 Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive under pressure
