Agence de Placement Trésor Inc. is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients, a growing manufacturing company, for an Operations Coordinator / Assistant Operations Manager position in Laval.

Laval, QC
Salary: approximately $55,000 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday – full-time
Permanent position – on-site

Role Overview

You will play a key role in supporting daily operations, working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure efficiency, productivity, and smooth coordination across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily production activities and priorities
  • Assist in planning and managing production schedules
  • Ensure effective communication between departments
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor performance indicators and prepare reports
  • Support inventory and tools management
  • Assist in operational budgeting
  • Collaborate with suppliers and external partners
  • Support team training and operational processes

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in operations management or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in coordination or supervision
  • Technical understanding of production (CNC or manufacturing environment)
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Bilingual (French and English required)
  • Experience with ERP systems (asset)
