Description
Senior Tax Associate | $80,000 – $105,000 | Toronto (Hybrid)
Most firms will tell you they do “interesting work.”
Few can point to the clients to prove it.
This one can.
You’d be joining a nationally recognised firm with a strong reputation in the private client space, the kind of place that attracts entrepreneurial businesses, high-net-worth families, and situations where tax decisions actually move the needle.
Not volume. Not churn. Work that requires thinking. That changes your day-to-day.
You’re not stuck turning the same type of return. You’ll be involved across T1s and T2s, yes, but also supporting planning work, structuring conversations, and more complex engagements alongside senior leaders.
It’s the kind of exposure that builds judgment quickly.
Why this role is worth considering:
- Hybrid working with a well-established, collaborative team.
- $80,000 – $105,000 depending on experience.
- A respected mid-sized firm with a strong brand in the market.
- Exposure to HNW individuals, private businesses, and complex tax scenarios.
- Real involvement in both compliance and advisory work.
What they’re looking for:
- 2–5 years of public accounting experience.
- Strong T1 and T2 experience.
- CPA or working towards.
- Someone who wants more than repetition, someone who wants to understand the “why.”
Some firms give you tasks.
Better firms give you context.
