Salary:<br/><br/>$105,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year (OT Eligible at 1.5x)<br/><br/>Benefits<br/><br/>Competitive base salary plus 1.5x overtime pay, offering significant earning potential.<br/><br/>100% employer‑paid benefits and pension contributions.<br/><br/>Authority to develop PM systems and mentor a dedicated crew of tradespeople.<br/><br/>Permanent, in‑town career opportunity with a long‑standing industry leader.<br/><br/>Opportunity to transition between shift structures as the facility evolves.<br/><br/>Responsibilities<br/><br/>Manage a crew of Millwrights and other trades, ensuring full compliance with safety codes and high‑performance standards.<br/><br/>Take ownership of mechanical equipment uptime, identifying root causes of failures and implementing long‑term corrective actions.<br/><br/>Lead scheduled shutdowns and manage daily downtime plans to minimize production interruptions.<br/><br/>Build and refine area maintenance procedures, PM programs, and condition‑based maintenance protocols.<br/><br/>Enforce “zero‑harm” practices and mentor the team on safe work procedures in a high‑pressure environment.<br/><br/>Oversee employee attendance, performance reviews, and training requirements.<br/><br/>Qualifications<br/><br/>Journeyperson Millwright Certification or a post‑secondary degree with a Mechanical Engineering focus.<br/><br/>Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within an industrial setting.<br/><br/>Strong experience working with a CMMS for work order management and asset tracking.<br/><br/>Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to organize priorities and meet tight deadlines under pressure.<br/><br/>Ability to pass a zero‑tolerance drug and alcohol test and a criminal background check.<br/><br/>Randstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
