Schedule: Approximately 2 days per week initially

About the Opportunity

TFG is currently recruiting on behalf of a client in the manufacturing industry for a Fractional HR Generalist Consultant to provide part-time remote HR support across multiple plant locations.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced HR professional seeking flexible consulting work while supporting operational HR and administrative functions for facilities that do not currently have dedicated on-site HR support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR support to plant operations
  • Support payroll processing and employee schedule changes
  • Assist with onboarding, HR administration, and employee documentation
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries as needed
  • Support general HR coordination and operational HR activities
  • Help maintain HR policies, procedures, and compliance standards
  • Provide flexible HR coverage and support based on business needs
  • Contribute to a collaborative and solutions-focused work environment

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an HR Generalist or HR Consultant capacity
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or plant environments is considered an asset
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a flexible, part-time consulting environment
  • Bilingual French/English is considered an asset for Quebec support
