– We are seeking an experienced Technical Artist to collaborate with peers in developing and maintaining high-quality tools, pipelines, systems, and runtime performance. The ideal candidate will work with the Technical Art team to ensure real-time gameplay maintains high visual quality yet remains performant and functional.

What are the key responsibilities?
– Proactively identify workflow pain points and provide solutions
– Collaborate with various art teams to optimize runtime performance
– Use PIX to address content performance concerns
– Troubleshoot performance issues in Environments, Animation, and Character Art
– Educate, document technical processes, and communicate with external vendors
– Fix bugs in the game as reported
What experience are we looking for to drive success?
– MUST-Have Skills and Qualifications:
– Strong knowledge of video game production
– Problem-solving skills for technical issues
– Proficiency in Unreal 4 or equivalent engine
– Experience in shader creation and optimization
– Familiarity with 2D/3D art packages and scripting/programming languages
– Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
– Experience with Houdini/Substance Designer
– Previous game development experience
