🔹 Shift Availability
Candidates must be flexible for overtime and shift schedules:
🕒 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
🕒 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Overtime paid at time-and-a-half.
Are you an experienced Packaging Mechanic with hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting bottle packaging lines in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, beverage, or supplement manufacturing environments?
We are seeking skilled Packaging Mechanics interested in relocating to Virginia, USA to support high-speed packaging operations within a modern manufacturing facility.

Position Overview
The Packaging Mechanic is responsible for performing setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, repairs, and operational support for bottle packaging lines.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical troubleshooting experience and hands-on knowledge of automated packaging equipment used in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, beverage, or supplement manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Perform changeovers, setups, repairs, and preventative maintenance on bottle packaging equipment
✅ Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues on packaging lines
✅ Maintain and repair conveyors, compressors, and automated packaging systems
✅ Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics
✅ Support equipment installation and line optimization activities
✅ Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, OSHA, and quality standards
✅ Train and support Packaging Operators on machine operation and cleaning procedures
✅ Complete maintenance documentation and work orders accurately
✅ Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
Equipment Experience Preferred
Candidates with experience operating, troubleshooting, or maintaining the following equipment are highly preferred:
- Bottle Unscrambler | Electronic Tablet Counter | Slat Filler | Capper | Cap Induction Sealer | Labeler | Neck/Body Bander | Heat Shrink Tunnel | Cartoner | Tray/Case Former | Case Packer | Case Taper | QR Code Printers | Accumulation Tables | Dust Collectors
Required Qualifications
✔ 2+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance of bottle packaging lines
✔ Experience with troubleshooting, repairs, setup, disassembly, and machine changeovers
✔ Experience within pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, supplements, food, or beverage manufacturing environments
✔ Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
✔ Knowledge of cGMP and OSHA standards
✔ Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and schematics
✔ Experience with preventative maintenance programs
Nice to Have
