About the Role
Sultans Consulting is a Shopify Platinum Partner agency. We build sophisticated, large-scale Shopify Plus storefronts for enterprise clients and we specialize in complex integrations, custom back office experiences, and high-velocity commerce. Our Technical PMs are the connective tissue between our clients and our distributed delivery team. This is a hands-on, fully client-facing role for someone who thinks in systems, communicates with clarity, and knows Shopify from the inside out.

What You Will Do
- Own the day-to-day relationship with enterprise clients throughout the full engagement lifecycle.
- Lead Discovery and Strategy sessions with clients to gather project requirements, define scope, and align on priorities before development begins.
- Write Feature Requirements Documents (FRDs) that clearly translate client needs into actionable specifications, collaborating closely with Tech Leads to validate solutions and identify the right technical approach.
- Manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables across cross-functional teams spanning development, design, and integrations.
- Define project responsibilities with stakeholders
- Maintain project time frames, budget estimates and status reports
- Identifying and overseeing risks, dependencies and technical challenges to ensure project success
- Deep Shopify Plus expertise: admin configuration, checkout extensibility, metafield architecture, multi-market setup, and expansion stores
- Understanding of Shopify APIs, webhooks, and order lifecycle (you don’t need to code, but you need to understand the data flow)
- Experience coordinating Shopify app installations, custom app integrations, and third-party vendor onboarding within Shopify Plus environments
- Write clear, detailed tickets in Jira and maintain project documentation in Confluence.
- Lead client discovery sessions, status calls, and escalation conversations with confidence.
- Coordinate between technical developers and non-technical client stakeholders to keep complex projects moving.
Required Skills
- At least 2-3 years of related project management or account management experience
- Excellent analytical, logical thinking and problem solving skills
- Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning
- Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices
- Shopify Plus admin setup and storefront configuration
- Third-party app configuration and integrations
- Shopify Flow automation setup
- Jira for task and project management (required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing enterprise or mid-market client accounts
- Ability to adapt to change
- Ability to run structured discovery sessions and translate business requirements into written specs
Nice to Have
- PMP certification a plus
- Confluence documentation
- Experience with direct sales, distributor attribution or affiliate tooling
- Working knowledge of Liquid or Shopify theme structure
- Slack for async team coordination
- Figma for reviewing design specs and mockups
- Monday for client communication
What You Will Bring
