Our client, an established telecom organization, is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join their team.

This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to engineer production-quality code, develop technical architecture, and suggest appropriate cloud services to accomplish product goals on enterprise projects moving towards 5G technologies.

This is a great opportunity to work on a long-term opportunity with a focus on modern cloud platforms. ( 6 months contract to start with potential to extend for another year – remote across Canada – EST times)

What You’ll Do

  • Engineer production-quality code to deploy solutions mostly on AWS and GCP cloud platforms
  • Enhance testing platforms, improve test automation, and foster software craftsmanship
  • Develop technical architecture and suggest the appropriate cloud services and frameworks to accomplish product goals
  • Build shippable code using CI/CD techniques
  • Maintain a willingness to adopt AI development tools
  • Monitor operations and performance of solutions

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Science/Computing Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in object-oriented development in JavaScript (Node, React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
  • Telecom experience – ideally 4G/5G is a must
  • 2+ years of experience developing and deploying to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • 2+ years of experience in Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Strong Full-Stack development experience with a heavy focus on the backend
  • Hands-on experience using Git, microservices development, and fundamental data modeling
  • Capable with CI/CD tools and pipelines such as AWS CodeCommit / CodePipeline and Serverless framework
