Focus Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst (1884) to support a major healthcare technology implementation focused on Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Electronic Patient Care Reports (ePCR) across Saskatchewan.

Role Overview
The Senior Business Analyst (1884) will support stakeholder engagement and business requirements management activities for the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Electronic Patient Care Reports (ePCR) Project.
The successful candidate will be responsible for validating project functional requirements, collaborating with vendors and stakeholders, coordinating testing activities, troubleshooting solutions, and facilitating issue resolution across diverse stakeholder groups. This role supports the provincial implementation of ePCR throughout Saskatchewan and is considered a highly visible and strategic healthcare initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, document, validate, and manage business requirements
- Prepare presentations, decision materials, and documentation for various audiences, including senior leadership
- Work closely with vendors, project teams, and stakeholders to support solution implementation
- Develop testing strategies and test plans
- Coordinate and lead testing activities
- Troubleshoot application and implementation issues
- Drive issue identification, escalation, and resolution
- Write, edit, and proofread technical documentation, end-user documentation, and knowledge transfer materials
- Facilitate discussions with multidisciplinary stakeholder groups
- Create and maintain knowledge management documentation
- Support stakeholder engagement activities
- Provide remote and on-site go-live support for healthcare and EMS facilities throughout Saskatchewan
- Support provincial implementation activities and adoption efforts
- Coordinate communication between project stakeholders and operational teams
- Assist with business process and workflow analysis
- Support clinical application implementation activities
Mandatory Qualifications
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience in a Business Analyst role
- Healthcare experience involving clinical application implementations within the last five (5) years
- Experience with the Medusa Siren application/platform
- Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements
- Experience coordinating testing activities and supporting implementations
- Experience working with vendors and multiple stakeholder groups
- Experience supporting enterprise or provincial healthcare initiatives
