Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Specialist with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM US Payroll to support implementation, configuration, enhancement, and production support initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion US Payroll processing, taxation, payroll configuration, reporting, integrations, and payroll compliance requirements within a US payroll environment. This role requires a blend of functional and technical expertise, along with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams to deliver scalable payroll solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and support Oracle Fusion Payroll components including Payroll Definitions, Legislative Data Groups (LDG), Payroll Relationships, and Payroll Calendars.
  • Manage and execute end-to-end US payroll processing activities including Payroll Runs, QuickPay, Retro Pay, and Payroll Flow execution.
  • Configure and maintain US payroll taxation requirements including Federal, State, and Local taxes such as FIT, SIT, FICA, and FUTA.
  • Design and maintain payroll elements, earnings, deductions, classifications, and balance feeds.
  • Develop and modify Fast Formulas for payroll calculations, eligibility criteria, taxation rules, and custom payroll requirements.
  • Configure and manage payroll deductions including child support, involuntary deductions, benefits deductions, and garnishments.
  • Support payroll year-end activities including payroll balancing, W-2 processing, tax reporting, and compliance validation.
  • Create and maintain payroll reports using OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle Payroll reporting tools.
  • Perform payroll data migration and conversion activities using HDL and Spreadsheet Data Loader tools.
  • Design and support integrations between Oracle Fusion HCM and external systems such as Benefits platforms and third-party payroll vendors (e.g., ADP).
  • Prepare functional documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Design Specifications, process documents, and test scenarios.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue resolution, and production support activities.
  • Collaborate with HR, payroll teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion HCM with strong specialization in Oracle Fusion US Payroll.
  • Hands-on experience configuring Oracle Fusion Payroll modules in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of US payroll legislation, taxation, deductions, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Oracle Fast Formulas and payroll element design.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll reporting tools including OTBI and BI Publisher.
  • Experience with HDL and payroll data migration activities.
  • Strong understanding of integrations between Oracle Fusion HCM and third-party systems.
  • Experience supporting UAT and preparing functional documentation.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Fusion HCM certifications preferred.
  • Experience working with ADP payroll integrations.
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise payroll implementation or transformation projects.
  • Experience supporting multiple payroll cycles and year-end payroll activities.
