Financial Systems Analyst
Hybrid 2 Days/Week| Markham, ON
Position Overview:
Andromeda, an operating group under Constellation Software is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Systems Analyst to support and enhance the organization’s OneStream financial reporting and consolidation platform. This role serves as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the system, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and usability of financial data, reporting structures, dashboards, and hierarchies across the business.
The successful candidate will partner closely with Finance, business stakeholders, and technical teams to manage system enhancements, maintain reporting accuracy, support month-end and quarter-end close activities, and drive continuous improvements across financial reporting processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the intersection of finance, systems, reporting, and process optimization in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities:
OneStream System Administration
- Maintain and update organizational hierarchies, metadata, dimensions, and reporting structures within OneStream to accurately reflect current business operations.
- Manage and process hierarchy and system configuration changes, ensuring alignment with finance and business requirements.
- Perform regular audits and validations to ensure system integrity, consistency, and reporting accuracy.
Financial Reporting & Dashboard Support
- Administer and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and reporting packages within OneStream.
- Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to develop and enhance reporting solutions that support operational and executive decision-making.
- Troubleshoot reporting issues, data discrepancies, and mapping errors, coordinating resolutions with internal teams as required.
Data Integrity & Reconciliation
- Monitor data loads, consolidations, and integrations to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial information.
- Validate mappings between source systems and OneStream, identifying and resolving inconsistencies proactively.
- Perform reconciliations between OneStream and upstream financial systems to support accurate reporting and close processes.
Change Management & Continuous Improvement
- Serve as the primary owner of OneStream-related change requests from intake through implementation.
- Assess enhancement requests, document requirements, coordinate testing activities, and manage stakeholder communication throughout deployment.
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, improve data quality, and optimize system processes.
Month-End & Quarter-End Close Support
- Provide system support during month-end and quarter-end close cycles to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Monitor consolidation activity and troubleshoot system issues impacting close timelines.
- Collaborate with Finance teams to ensure hierarchies, mappings, and reporting structures are fully updated prior to close.
Stakeholder Support & Governance
- Act as a key liaison between Finance, business units, IT, and external support partners for OneStream-related initiatives.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, change history, and reporting processes.
- Provide guidance and support to end users on reporting tools, dashboards, and system functionality.
Qualifications:
Required
- 3+ years of experience in a Financial Systems Analyst, FP&A Systems, EPM/CPM Administration, or related finance systems role.
- Hands-on experience supporting OneStream or comparable financial consolidation and reporting platforms (Hyperion, Cognos, Oracle EPM, etc.).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting structures, hierarchies, consolidations, and management reporting concepts.
- Experience supporting system enhancements, change management processes, and reporting administration.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across finance, business, and technical teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Preferred
- Experience working in a multi-entity or decentralized business environment.
- Exposure to ERP implementations, finance transformation initiatives, or reporting modernization projects.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization/reporting tools.
- Understanding of financial controls, audit support, or SOX-related processes.
