About the Company

Our client, a leading international law firm with a strong presence in Canada is seeking a Junior Corporate Law Clerk to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file corporate documents for federal and provincial entities
  • Maintain and update corporate records, minute books, and entity databases
  • Draft routine corporate documentation, including resolutions, officer/director changes, and annual filings
  • Assist with corporate transactions, reorganizations, and due diligence matters
  • Conduct corporate and registry searches as required
  • Coordinate filings with regulatory bodies such as Corporations Canada and the Ontario Business Registry
  • Support lawyers and senior clerks with a variety of corporate matters
  • Liaise with internal teams and external service providers when necessary

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a corporate law clerk in a law firm or in-house legal department
  • Strong knowledge of corporate procedures, filings, and compliance (Ontario and federal)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with corporate management systems and document software
  • Team-oriented with a proactive and professional approach

Compensation

  • Salary up to $90,000, commensurate with experience
