Who We Are
Metrolinx’s GO Expansion program is delivering more GO service across the network, including the capacity to deliver two-way service every 15 minutes or better on core routes. Work is already underway on new track, station renovations and infrastructure upgrades on parts of the Lakeshore, Stouffville, Kitchener and Barrie lines. The investment will generate thousands of new jobs and economic opportunities across the region. The ONxpress Civil Joint Venture is comprised of Aecon Infrastructure Management Inc. and FCC Canada Ltd. This multidisciplinary team leads the delivery of civil and track works, leveraging global expertise to introduce innovative solutions across the GO Transit network.
What you’ll do
- Support contract administration activities under the direction of senior team members.
- Maintain and update contract records, summaries, and documentation.
- Assist with tracking contract deliverables, milestones, and obligations.
- Help prepare and organize contract-related documents, including correspondence and reports.
- Coordinate documentation for variations, change requests, and claims.
- Ensure contract documents are properly filed and accessible.
- Track insurance documentation and ensure records are up to date.
- Assist in preparing regular contract status reports and updates.
- Support communication between project team members regarding contract requirements.
- Monitor deadlines for contractual notices and assist with timely submission.
- Help identify potential risks or issues and escalate to senior team members.
- Participate in team meetings and provide administrative support for contract-related items.
What You Bring
- Diploma or degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in contract administration, project coordination, or a similar role.
- Basic understanding of contracts and construction/project environments is an asset.
- Prior experience in the construction industry is an asset.
- Strong organizational and document management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret contracts with guidance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Expected compensation for this role is between $60,000.00-$75,000.00 annually. Base salaries are determined according to multiple factors including skills, experience and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into consideration. In addition to base salary ONxpress also offers a comprehensive medical and dental program, RRSP with company matching and the potential to participate in our discretionary, performance based bonus program.
