Job Title: Project Manager, Media Operations (Media Ocean)
Contract Type: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Leave Cover)
Location: Toronto, ON
Experience with Media Ocean Prisma and/or Spectra is required to be considered for this role!
Havas Media is seeking an experienced Project Manager, Media Operations to lead the integration and onboarding of business entity into Media Ocean. This is a project-focused role centered on platform migration, team training, and process standardization.
You will be the primary driver ensuring teams are fully operational, confident, and compliant within Media Ocean (Prisma/Spectra) by the end of the contract period.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Platform Integration & Migration
- Lead end-to-end onboarding of the incoming business entity onto Media Ocean (Prisma and/or Spectra)
- Partner with internal systems, finance, and operations teams to configure client hierarchies, product codes, and vendor setups
- Develop and manage the integration project plan, timelines, and milestones
- Coordinate with Media Ocean support and internal tech teams on system configuration and data migration requirements
- Ensure proper mapping of legacy workflows to Media Ocean standards
Training & Capability Building
- Create user guides, quick-reference materials, and SOPs tailored to Havas workflows
- Conduct hands-on training sessions (virtual and in-person)
- Establish a feedback loop to identify knowledge gaps and adjust training accordingly
- Serve as the go-to platform SME during the transition period
Process Standardization & Governance
- Document and implement consistent workflows aligned with Havas Media operational standards
- Define and enforce data entry standards to ensure reporting accuracy and financial integrity
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure billing and reconciliation processes are understood and adopted
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the central point of contact between the incoming business entity, Havas operations, and finance teams
- Provide regular status updates to leadership on onboarding progress, risks, and milestones
- Direct change management communications to ensure smooth adoption
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Media Ocean Expertise
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Media Ocean Prisma and/or Spectra
- Strong understanding of:
- Client/product hierarchy setup and maintenance
- Familiarity with Media Ocean integrations (DSPs, ad servers, publisher systems) is a plus
Project Management
- Proven experience managing platform migrations, system integrations, or operational transformation projects
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously
Training & Communication
- Excellent communication skills – able to translate complex system processes into clear, actionable guidance
- Confident presenting to groups ranging from junior buyers to senior leadership
General
- Background in media agency operations, finance, or systems
- Understanding of the end-to-end media workflow: planning → buying → trafficking → billing → reconciliation
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and process compliance

By the end of this contract, you will have:
- Fully onboarded business entity’s teams onto Media Ocean with documented, standardized workflows
- Delivered comprehensive training resulting in team self-sufficiency on the platform
- Identified and resolved integration issues with minimal disruption to operations
