Role: Senior UX QA Analyst

Location: Montreal (100% Onsite)

Duration: Long Term Contract(6 Months to start with)

Core responsibilities:

1. Write and execute testing plans to assess compliance across several areas:

Accessibility, using functional and automated testing (ability to complete a VPAT

template covering the required WCAG guidelines according to Quebec law). – –

Compliance with Client’s Institutional standards

Project- or application-specific standards as needed (ex. Slate application form

standards)

2. Write and execute testing plans to validate UX and UI quality based on assessment of: –

UI and UX on supported browsers – – –

UX copy for plain language, user-aligned terminology, continuity, and basic

spelling/grammar

Alignment with standard usability heuristics –

Alignment with user research artefacts such as jobs to be done or customer

journey maps.

Design intent and quality (does the interface look and behave in a way that’s

cohesive, polished, and consistent with related or adjacent systems and

platforms?)

3. Write and execute functional testing plans to ensure projects deliver required business

capabilities.

4. Participate in user research and continuous improvement activities to better

understand user experience. Use this knowledge to refine testing plans or methods to

more accurately evaluate user experience and meet user experience targets.

Skills and experience: – – – – – –

Experience creating, executing, and refining testing plans across a variety of

systems and use cases.

Expertise (or willingness to acquire expertise) in accessibility and usability

practices.

Detail-oriented, methodical, and observant.

Strong English-language writing and editing skills.

Ability to integrate and apply new knowledge of user expectations and behavior to

support test planning and execution.

5+ years related experience.
