Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned BigID Data Privacy Technical Architect with deep expertise in data privacy, governance, and architecture. This role will lead the design and implementation of scalable data privacy solutions using BigID and related technologies, ensuring compliance with global data protection regulations and enabling robust data governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect and implement BigID solutions for data discovery, classification, and privacy compliance.
• Design and optimize data models for privacy-centric use cases, including PII detection, data lineage, and consent management.
• Integrate BigID with enterprise data platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks) and governance tools (e.g., Collibra).
• Lead technical workshops with stakeholders to capture privacy requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Establish and maintain data dictionaries, glossaries, catalogs, and lineage documentation.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and data governance teams to ensure alignment with regulations such as PIPEDA, Quebec’s Law 25, Ontario bill 194, CCPA/CPRA (California), CPA (Colorado), NERC CIP and FERC.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to implementation teams and partners.
Your Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in data architecture, privacy engineering, or enterprise IT.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with BigID platform and modules.
• Expertise in BigID deployment topologies (SaaS, On-Prem, Hybrid, Containerized)
• Expertise in BigID connector types, discovery methods and integration protocols including AI based scanning methods
• Proven experience designing and implementing cloud-based data architectures and privacy frameworks.
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance standards mentioned under
Key Responsibilities section.
• Strong SQL and scripting skills with ability to capture complex transformations and business rules.
• Experience with data governance practices including data lineage, impact analysis, and data quality.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and lead cross-functional teams.
Certifications (Preferred):
• BigID Certified Architect
• Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT)
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $91,599 to $214,896.
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction. These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
