We are currently seeking a full-time Dining Room Manager.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule: Monday to Friday, variable hours between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with one weekend out of two.
Salary: To be discussed
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with kitchen employees to ensure good teamwork
- Contribute and ensure the maintenance of the cleanliness of the dining room by taking on some household chores, in collaboration with the whole team
- Greet residents in the dining room and ensure their comfort
- Perform other related duties
- See to the preparation of cold dishes and desserts
- Take orders, note specific requests from residents and follow up in the kitchen
- Welcome customers and ensure the integration of new residents by offering them an adequate table
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- knowledge of a Maitre D’s responsibilities (an asset)
- At lease 3 to 5 years of experience in restoration
- Good communication
- Good team player
