Moody’s Impairment Studio – IFRS 9 Consultant (Contract) This is a fractional or part-time contract opportunity, can discuss Location: Downtown Toronto (onsite presence will be required)Duration: 2-3 months initial (strong likelihood of extension)OverviewA client of ours, financial services organization, is seeking a highly experienced Moody’s Impairment Studio – IFRS 9 Consultant to support a critical compliance and reporting initiative across multiple subsidiaries.This role will support the post-implementation stabilization and optimization of Moody’s Impairment Studio, including model validation, refinement, and knowledge transfer, while acting as a key liaison between external advisors, system providers, and internal finance teams.Reporting directly to senior finance leadership, this is a role requiring a strong combination of technical IFRS 9 expertise, investment accounting knowledge, system implementation experience, and stakeholder coordination.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport post-implementation stabilization and optimization of Moody’s Impairment StudioValidate, refine, and troubleshoot IFRS 9 ECL models and outputsOversee end-to-end data flows, model inputs, and reporting integrityAct as a key liaison between external advisors, system providers, and internal teamsDeliver hands-on training and knowledge transfer to finance usersDevelop and maintain documentation, model governance frameworks, and user guidesIdentify and resolve issues related to model performance, data quality, and reporting outputsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
