Join Skyjack as a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in line support in Guelph, Ontario. This full-time position focuses on designing for manufacturing efficiency and product improvement.<br/><br/>You will coordinate product design changes and troubleshoot BOM issues while collaborating with manufacturing teams to enhance assembly processes. A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, along with 2 years of relevant experience, will position you to thrive in this role. Your experience with SolidWorks and design methodologies will support continuous improvement initiatives.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities:
• Design and produce production-ready drawings and calculations
• Analyze and improve existing product designs for assembly
• Develop cost-effective solutions to design challenges
• Document all aspects of projects comprehensively
• Provide mentorship to junior design engineers<br/><br/>Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering required
• At least 2 years in a design role within heavy equipment
• Proficient in GD&T and design considerations
