Job Title: ServiceNow Technical Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Consultant (TC) to join our team on a remote contract basis in Canada. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow platform configuration, implementation, and technical consulting. This is a customer-facing role requiring excellent communication skills, the ability to provide technical advisory services, and experience guiding clients through best practices, governance, and successful ServiceNow implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, customize, and implement ServiceNow solutions based on business and technical requirements.
  • Conduct technical assessments of existing ServiceNow environments and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor for customers throughout implementation and optimization initiatives.
  • Establish and promote ServiceNow platform governance, standards, and best practices.
  • Identify technical risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges, and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
  • Support solution design, platform architecture, and technical documentation.
  • Deliver knowledge transfer sessions and enable customer teams for long-term platform success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance during workshops, solution reviews, and implementation planning.
  • Ensure solutions align with ServiceNow best practices and organizational objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform configuration and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, administration, and customization.
  • Experience conducting technical assessments and providing implementation advisory services.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow platform governance, standards, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to identify implementation risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Experience delivering knowledge transfer, documentation, and customer enablement sessions.
  • Strong customer-facing consulting experience with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more modules.
  • Experience working in Agile project environments.
  • Experience with ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps implementations is an asset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • JavaScript, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Service Portal experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale ServiceNow deployments.
