Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage PeopleSoft environment setup, maintenance, cloning, and troubleshooting activities; oversee installation, configuration, and patching of PeopleSoft applications and PeopleTools across environments; manage and monitor WebLogic, Tuxedo, Process Scheduler, and Integration Broker components; perform PeopleTools and application upgrades, including applying PUM images and tax updates using Change Assistant; collaborate with development and functional teams for migration of code, configuration, and data across environments; administer security across PeopleSoft layers including LDAP, SSL, roles permissions, and firewalls; optimize system performance by tuning application servers, web servers, and database connections; maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and disaster recovery plans; lead root cause analysis and issue resolution for performance, integration, and system failures; coordinate with DBAs, infrastructure teams, and third‑party vendors to support PeopleSoft uptime and compliance; guide junior administrators and provide support in training, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities
- To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
- To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization, implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
- To ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
- To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
