Job Responsibilities

Lead and manage PeopleSoft environment setup, maintenance, cloning, and troubleshooting activities; oversee installation, configuration, and patching of PeopleSoft applications and PeopleTools across environments; manage and monitor WebLogic, Tuxedo, Process Scheduler, and Integration Broker components; perform PeopleTools and application upgrades, including applying PUM images and tax updates using Change Assistant; collaborate with development and functional teams for migration of code, configuration, and data across environments; administer security across PeopleSoft layers including LDAP, SSL, roles permissions, and firewalls; optimize system performance by tuning application servers, web servers, and database connections; maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and disaster recovery plans; lead root cause analysis and issue resolution for performance, integration, and system failures; coordinate with DBAs, infrastructure teams, and third‑party vendors to support PeopleSoft uptime and compliance; guide junior administrators and provide support in training, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
  2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization, implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
  3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
  4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
