Housekeeping Attendant – trois-rivières

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The welcoming Le Jardin Laviolette residence in Trois-Rivières is currently seeking a part-time daytime Housekeeping Attendant.

Daytime hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• At all times, respect safety rules, intervene or inform your manager if elements appear to contravene WHMIS standards.
• Carry out any other tasks related to his/her duties and at the request of his/her immediate superior.
• Clean residents’ bathrooms and toilets
• Clear corridors and access doors of items that could be cumbersome and affect the safety of residents
• Ensure that the storage area for household products and the work cart are clean, safe and locked at all times
• Respond to emergencies such as: overflowing toilet, slippery surfaces, soiled area, etc.
• Sweep and wash floors, dust furniture, window sills, mirrors or other areas where dust can accumulate

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
• WHMIS training (an asset, provided on site if applicable)
• Knowledge of household products and their use
