Take on a pivotal role in shaping health and safety practices as the Health & Safety Lead at DeVry Greenhouses. You will be instrumental in creating safer workplaces throughout BC, Alberta, and Michigan. At DeVry Greenhouses, you will join a cooperative People & Culture team in Chilliwack, BC.

Your focus on compliance and program improvement will drive initiatives aimed at enhancing employee well-being. This position allows you to be hands‑on, engaging operations and reinforcing a culture of safety and accountability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve Health & Safety programs and policies across regions
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Stay updated on health regulations and best practices
  • Deliver safety training programs and coordinate emergency preparedness
  • Foster employee engagement in safety initiatives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Health & Safety function
  • Familiarity with WorkSafeBC and Alberta OHS regulations
  • Experience with COR certification is an advantage
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Solid communication and organizational skills
