Role Description This full-time, on-site Shipping Coordinator and Project Coordination role is based in the Greater Calgary Metropolitan Area. The position is responsible for coordinating daily shipping and receiving activities, preparing documentation for domestic and international shipments, and working closely with carriers and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. The role includes managing inventory records, organizing warehouse materials, and supporting export logistics in line with company standards and regulations. The Shipping Coordinator also provides customer service to producers and partners, assists with project scheduling and order tracking, and collaborates with internal teams to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.

Project Coordination (Preliminary Design)

  • Receiving emails from customers and tracking them into monday.com analytics.
  • Once projects are completed, adding and updating the information into monday.com

Qualifications

  • Experience in Shipping & Receiving, including preparing shipping documents and coordinating freight.
  • Knowledge of Inventory Control practices and ability to maintain accurate stock records.
  • Comfort with Forklift Operation and safe material handling in a warehouse environment.
  • Understanding of Export processes, regulations, and documentation.
  • Strong Customer Service skills for communicating with producers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Good organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work on-site in the Greater Calgary Metropolitan Area and collaborate with a small team.
  • Basic computer proficiency (e.g., email, spreadsheets, inventory or shipping software); prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or logistics is an asset.
