Role Description The Food Service Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Carlyle, SK, responsible for overseeing daily food service operations and supporting a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment. This role includes supervising front-of-house and back-of-house staff, organizing work schedules, assigning tasks, and providing on-the-job guidance and coaching. The Food Service Supervisor monitors food preparation and presentation, ensures compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, and helps manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation. The role also involves resolving customer concerns, maintaining a clean and organized service area, handling cash or point-of-sale transactions as needed, and assisting with training new team members. The supervisor collaborates with management to implement service improvements, meet operational targets, and support a positive team culture.

Qualifications
- Strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task delegation, and shift coordination.
- Hands-on experience in Food Preparation, with attention to quality, safety, and consistency.
- Background in Food Service operations, including customer interaction, order flow, and sanitation practices.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and management.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage standards, portion control, and basic menu understanding.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and solve problems under time pressure.
- Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant, cafeteria, or similar setting is an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality or food service is an advantage.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
