Launched in 1999, Executive Education (Exec Ed) has over two decades of experience working with middle and senior-level management professionals in organizations and developing customized non-credit and credit-based education programs. Long-term partnerships guide programming that enables a deep understanding of clients’ needs and the design of custom programs to address those needs.

About the Role

The Associate Director, Marketing and Client Acquisition leads the development and execution of an integrated marketing strategy to grow enrollments and revenue across open-enrollment and custom executive education portfolios. The role develops and executes targeted marketing and recruitment strategies to attract a diverse range of learners to the unit. The role leads integrated marketing initiatives in both digital and traditional environments, supports direct marketing and recruitment activities for programs, and oversees outreach campaigns, recruitment events and engagement activities designed to build awareness and participation in programs. The role oversees the annual marketing and recruitment budget, analyzes outcomes and key metrics, and provides insights to senior leadership to improve strategies for lead-generation and conversion.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related discipline with four years of related senior professional experience in marketing, lead development, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Excellent understanding of brand development, creative and media strategy, web development, and direct marketing.
  • Experience with digital marketing ecosystems, including content management systems (e.g., WordPress), CRM and marketing automation tools, SEO, and paid digital campaigns.
  • Excellent leadership and networking skills to influence senior leadership across the unit, with SFU marketing leads, and external partners.
  • Exceptional strategic planning abilities and future visioning to ensure Executive Education success in meeting and exceeding client recruitment, revenue, brand positioning and affinity targets in an increasingly competitive landscape and growing product offering.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams representing various constituencies within SFU Business.
