Job Summary

As a Manager, Domestic Tax in our Domestic Tax team, you will work with a wide variety of clients, collaborating with colleagues across multiple service lines to deliver personalized tax solutions and contribute to our growing tax practice.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor a team of tax colleagues on compliance and tax planning options.
• Establish deep trusting relationships with clients and advise them on complex tax matters.
• Review corporate tax provisions and compliance engagements, and analyze, review and complete corporate and personal income tax returns.
• Proactively resolve tax‑related issues with clients and other team members.
• Act as a leader in the management of our growing tax practice, identifying and developing new opportunities for additional tax services.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or completed CPA Canada In‑Depth Tax Program, or hold a Masters of Taxation degree.
• Solid experience in corporate and personal Canadian tax compliance.
• Experience presenting new ideas and conceptualizing novel tax solutions for clients.
• Track record of mentoring and developing others.

Salary

Current salary range: $88,000–$121,000 in Waterloo, ON (may vary by location).
