Role: Sr. Mobile & Full Stack Lead (iOS + MERN)

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a highly skilled and versatile Mobile & Full Stack Lead to own the end‑to‑end development and migration—spanning native iOS development and a MERN‑based full stack backend/web layer.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and design the complete iOS application from the ground up, including legacy Objective‑C modules and modern Swift/SwiftUI components.
  • Lead all phases of the iOS development lifecycle—planning, development, and testing.
  • Architect and build full stack web features using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
  • Make critical technical decisions regarding architecture, frameworks, and tools across mobile and web.
  • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness across iOS and web platforms.
  • Evaluate and, where appropriate, implement cross‑platform mobile solutions (Flutter, React Native) for new features or app modernization.
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile and web deliverables.

Qualifications

Mandatory

  • Extensive, deep expertise in the iOS platform and its architecture (6+ years preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in both Objective‑C and Swift, including SwiftUI/UIKit.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing complex iOS applications from scratch.
  • Solid hands‑on experience with the MERN stack—MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js—for full stack/web development.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies (XCTest/XCUITest, and equivalent JS testing tools).
  • Exposure to Agentic AI supported Development workflow.
  • Solid understanding of software design patterns and best practices across both mobile and web.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills across native and web stacks.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with experience leading distributed teams.

Good to Have

  • Experience with Flutter and/or React Native for cross‑platform mobile development.
  • Experience integrating RESTful/SOAP APIs, payment gateways, and third‑party SDKs (analytics, A/B testing, crash reporting, etc.).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies in distributed/offshore‑onshore team setups.
