Champion recreational and facility programs to create a vibrant community experience.<br/><br/>This critical leadership role at the District of Tumbler Ridge involves operational oversight of the Community Services Department. You will ensure the delivery of professional and engaging community programs while driving a results-oriented culture. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships with staff, stakeholders, and community members, alongside the ability to adapt and lead amidst challenges.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the strategic execution of community programs
• Engage staff through motivational leadership techniques
• Maintain fiscal responsibility and manage procurement processes
• Enhance community engagement in recreational services
• Control budgeting and develop expenditure strategies<br/><br/>Requirements:
• Degree in Business Administration or related disciplines
• At least five years of relevant management experience
• Project Management certification preferred
• Must hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
• Experience liaising with councils or governing bodies<br/><br/>Lead the charge to foster a thriving community in Tumbler Ridge with effective recreation services.
