About The Role

Our growing team is looking for a Senior Product Manager – Product Ops Lead. The mission will be to empower cross‑functional squads and mentor Product Owners through coaching, shadowing, and sharing industry best practices while driving our transformation, in close collaboration with coaches and various stakeholders, towards a scalable, product‑centric culture across all business units.

What You’ll Do Here

  • People
    • Shadow POs and provide practical guidance and real‑time feedback.
    • Coach them on core product skills: discovery, hypothesis‑driven prioritization, stakeholder engagement, storytelling, outcome definition.
    • Act as a trusted partner and sounding board for Product Owners navigating those changes.
    • Develop a training curriculum for product owners.
    • Contribute to community of practice and implement a PO shadowing program across IFC.
  • Process & Practices
    • Define and reinforce product operating model practices from continuous discovery to delivery and impact review.
    • Clarify roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities across the product lifecycle.
    • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Data to create outcome‑focused discovery and delivery models.
    • Establish prioritization frameworks (e.g., RICE, WSJF), portfolio visibility, and high‑level readiness standards for feature quality.
    • Introduce lightweight templates and ceremonies tailored to team maturity.
    • Support BU manager for recruitment, team maturity assessment and work closely with the coach for the overall change management strategy.
  • Tools
    • Guide teams on Product board, Jira Product Discovery, Confluence/Whiteboard for documentation, and Jira for execution tracking.
    • Promote analytics, experimentation, and portfolio tools; operationalize squad dashboards (KPIs, cycle time, quality signals).
    • Use insights to drive continuous improvement and remove friction.

What You Bring To The Table

  • 5+ years in Product Management, including 2+ in Product Operations or product‑transformation roles.
  • Experience in large enterprises; influence across IT squads and stakeholder groups.
  • Proven coaching ability; elevates team practices without formal authority.
  • Strong facilitation and communication; crafts compelling narratives and presentations.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.

Compensation

Salary Range: $118,700 – $145,100 (35‑hour workweek).

Annual Bonus Target: Based on the base salary with potential payout up to double the target, subject to personal and company performance.

Additional: 15% bonus target, Employee Share Purchase Plan with Intact matching 50% of net shares. Pension plan offers guaranteed income for life.
