Description
Drive transformation as a Continuous Improvement Engineer with Nova Scotia Power in a hybrid setting in Halifax, NS. This role empowers you to utilize data and innovative methodologies to boost operational performance.<br/><br/>You will be an integral part of the Asset Management team, reporting to the WAM Product and Continuous Improvement Manager. Your focus will be on leading cross-departmental initiatives that enhance efficiency and customer service through clear data insights and recommendations. Engage with business units to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities:
• Manage improvement projects from initiation to sustainment
• Collaborate on process improvement with business units
• Analyze data and generate actionable insights
• Facilitate workshops to drive team collaboration
• Develop comprehensive business cases for improvements<br/><br/>Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or similar
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in SQL; experience with Tableau is beneficial
• Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma practices preferred
