Job Description

  • Support of the AML teams in quality client service and oversight of daily operations with the guidance of MUFG’s core valuesof Trust, Challenge & Empowerment, Passion for Clients and Openness and Honesty.
  • Ensure the AML team supports the client integration process, and the experience is professional and positive for all parties involved.
  • Ensure all relevant deliverables are dispatched as required, accurately and timely.
  • Manage as appropriate any sensitive or escalated queries/concerns from Clients, Investors, Fund Managers, or internal MUFG Departmentsadhering to a high-quality standard.
  • Be part of internal AML framework and participate in regular service review calls with assigned Client(s), CSMs, and other internal departments.
  • Support Regional/Global Head with local & global initiatives, projects, deliverables, and budget adherence.
  • Ensure adherence to company and AML department policies and procedures contributing to the policy, procedures development and reviewprocess, with emphasis on gaps/risks and ensuring regulatory requirements are adhered to.
  • Manage and drive individual performance of all direct reports through regular one to one meetings, regular performance discussions, careercoaching, and development as requested, annual performance reviews as per company standards. Foster a professional environment ofencouraging personal and professional development.
  • Champion Investor Operations, AML initiatives within your team, encouraging participation, constructive feedback, and idea generation from theteam members.
  • Assuming a lead role or be a contributor to projects, instilling a culture that embraces innovation, change and supports a global operating model.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
  • Internationally recognized AML qualification
  • 10+ years of operations experience in financial services, AML, with at least 5-7 years in a managerial capacity
  • Experience with direct client contact, relationship management, and AML operations are a must
