Key Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and manage commercial agreements, including customer, vendor, NDA, and other business contracts.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel on contract reviews, revisions, and specialized legal matters.
- Conduct legal research and provide support on commercial, corporate, employment, and compliance matters.
- Maintain legal records, contracts, and corporate documentation.
- Support cross-functional teams, including Sales, HR, Finance, and Operations, with legal and compliance-related matters.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3+ years of experience supporting commercial contracts in a paralegal, legal assistant, contract specialist, contracts administrator, or similar legal support role, preferably in a corporate legal department or commercial law firm.
- Strong experience reviewing, managing, and supporting commercial agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, and customer contracts.
- Solid understanding of contract law and corporate legal processes.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting commercial contracts in a multinational or cross-border business environment, with familiarity with U.S. and Canadian commercial contracts.
- Experience supporting B2B equipment, technology, or manufacturing companies.
- Experience supporting employment law and HR-related legal matters.
