Description
We are seeking a full‑time Psychiatrist to join a collaborative and well‑established mental health community in Quesnel, BC. This is an excellent opportunity for a psychiatrist interested in a broad, flexible practice with strong regional support and meaningful interdisciplinary collaboration.
You will work alongside another psychiatrist currently practicing in the community and in close collaboration with the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia (UHNBC) in Prince George, the regional tertiary and referring centre.
Scope of Practice
- Child & Youth psychiatry, with opportunities for visiting services to Prince George
- General adult outpatient psychiatry
- Inpatient psychiatric care
- Emergency psychiatry
- Virtual care services
- Opportunity to establish a private outpatient clinic

Qualifications
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Commitment to patient‑centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Experience working with community mental health teams preferred
We offer fully funded site visits and the support of a recruitment/onboarding coordinator dedicated to helping transition physicians and their families into the community.
