LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Project Manager (Telecom / Infrastructure Services) for a 6-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location

  • Hybrid – Ottawa

Key Tasks

  • Establish and maintain project governance structures and coordinate project steering and stakeholder meetings
  • Develop and maintain the integrated project plan, managing milestones, dependencies, critical paths, and resource requirements
  • Coordinate procurement activities including RFQ/RFP preparation, vendor evaluation, and contract execution
  • Coordinate activities across all stakeholder groups including Protection Services, IT, Facilities Management, Facilities Operations, and Risk Management
  • Monitor vendor performance and coordinate implementation, migration, commissioning, testing, and acceptance activities
  • Monitor project expenditures, track budget utilization, and forecast financial requirements
  • Provide weekly project status reports, maintain dashboards, and prepare executive briefings and decision documents
  • Report project risks, schedule issues, and budget status to governance bodies

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience leading complex technology and infrastructure projects
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing multi-stakeholder projects involving operational-critical services
  • Experience leading procurement activities including RFQs, RFPs, vendor evaluations, and contract award processes

Qualifications

  • University degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Public Administration, or a related discipline; or PMP designation with 10+ years of demonstrated PM success
  • Experience managing implementation projects involving external vendors and third-party contractors
  • Demonstrated experience in infrastructure modernization initiatives
  • Experience managing project budgets exceeding $250,000
  • Experience in public sector, higher education, emergency services, security, telecommunications, or critical infrastructure environments (preferred)
  • Experience with radio communications systems, dispatch environments, or operational technology projects (preferred)
  • Bilingualism in English and French (strongly preferred)

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate Negotiable
