About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Quality and Food Safety to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of the overall quality and food safety strategy across all operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, customer satisfaction, and the proactive management of food risks. This role requires a leader with a strategic vision, a collaborative mindset, and a deep commitment to excellence, who can foster a culture of continuous improvement and contribute to the company’s growth and reputation in the agri-food industry.
Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Quality and Food Safety include defining and driving the corporate strategy for quality and food safety, overseeing teams responsible for quality assurance, control, and regulatory compliance, and optimizing management systems. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in a related field, a minimum of 15 years’ experience in quality and food safety management, and a proven track record of leading change in a highly regulated environment. Personal characteristics should include mobilizing leadership, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence and rally teams around a common vision. Bilingualism in French and English is essential for effective interaction with North American teams and stakeholders.
