Dayforce Techno-Functional Consultant | Talent Management

Remote work in Canada (EST)

Introduction

Brunel is partnered with a leading consulting firm to support a long-term project requiring a Dayforce Functional Consultant – Talent Management.

The client is executing a major Dayforce implementation and is seeking a hands-on techno-functional consultant with experience supporting one or more of the following Dayforce modules:

• Reporting

• Talent Management (Performance & Succession)

• Recruiting

• Onboarding

This role will focus on configuration, process alignment, stakeholder engagement, and client-facing delivery within a fast-moving consulting environment.

Responsibilities

Dayforce Functional Delivery

• Configure and support Dayforce Reporting, Talent Management, Recruiting, and/or Onboarding modules

• Translate business requirements into system configuration

• Support business process optimization and solution design

• Maintain alignment between Dayforce configuration and business objectives

• Identify and resolve functional gaps

Reporting

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions

• Gather reporting requirements and support validation activities

• Support operational and management reporting needs

Talent Management

• Configure and support Performance Management and Succession Planning processes

• Support talent review, goal management, and employee development initiatives

• Recommend Dayforce best practices

Recruiting & Onboarding

• Configure and support recruiting workflows and onboarding processes

• Support candidate lifecycle management and new hire experiences

• Troubleshoot recruiting and onboarding issues

Techno-Functional Delivery

• Support requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders

• Perform hands-on configuration and validation

• Support system and user testing activities

• Assist with defect triage and resolution

• Produce clear documentation of implemented solutions

Client & Team Collaboration

• Support client discussions and solution workshops

• Provide guidance on Dayforce functionality and best practices

• Communicate risks and dependencies clearly

• Work independently while aligned with the broader delivery team

Qualifications

Hands-on Dayforce experience in one or more of the following modules:

  • Reporting
  • Talent Management (Performance & Succession)
  • Recruiting
  • Onboarding

Experience supporting Dayforce implementations or enhancements

Active Reliability Clearance OR eligible to obtain

Able to work Monday to Friday during EST business hours in Canada

Strong communication and documentation skills

Comfortable working in a consulting delivery environment
