We are looking for dynamic consultants to grow our Information Systems and Digital team in Montreal. Your experience, knowledge, and commitment will help us to face our client’s challenges.

You will be supporting different projects through your expertise as Technical Business Analyst.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Elicit, analyze, document, and manage business requirements, including Agile user stories, process flows, proof-of-concept models, and supporting functional documentation.
  • Analyze large data sets using SQL and relational databases to identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and business impacts, and coordinate remediation activities with cross-functional teams.
  • Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure surveillance solutions are designed and delivered according to approved specifications.
  • Prepare, execute, and support Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) scenarios and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test plans, test cases, and defect validation.
  • Contribute to project planning, tracking, risk identification, and escalation management, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones in coordination with program leadership.
  • Collaborate within Agile delivery teams alongside Scrum Masters, Developers, QA Analysts, and DevOps engineers to support continuous delivery and operational readiness of surveillance models.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5–7 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst within medium to large global organizations, preferably in financial services, risk, compliance, or capital markets environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL, data analysis, and relational databases, with the ability to investigate and interpret complex transactional data.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, including Scrum and BDD practices.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with experience working across international business and technology teams.
  • Knowledge of trade lifecycles and financial products such as Equities, Fixed Income, Options, and Futures; experience with compliance surveillance platforms (e.g., Actimize, Nasdaq SMARTS) is considered a strong asset.
