A1 Global College is seeking a dedicated and experienced “Construction Management Instructor” to prepare the next generation of industry professionals in our comprehensive Diploma Program. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, hands-on instruction in the following core focus areas:

Project Management & Scheduling

Cost Estimation & Budget Management

Building Codes & Safety Regulations

Construction Fundamentals & Building Systems

Construction Materials & Methods

Blueprint Reading & Technical Drawing

Quality Control & Inspection

Sustainable Construction Practices

Job Responsibilities:

  • Instruct students using an established curriculum consisting of lectures, discussion groups, interactive activities, etc.
  • Competently inform students of program evaluation guidelines.
  • Strictly adhere to a structured classroom schedule.
  • Adjust instruction techniques to meet the needs of students.
  • Assist students with different learning styles to acquire knowledge and engage in the learning
  • Ensure all course objectives/modules are taught in accordance with the program schedule.
  • Establish a classroom atmosphere which is conducive to learning.
  • Maintain fair, firm, and consistent disciplinary measures.
  • Regularly monitor student progress; provide relevant feedback regarding performance.
  • Keep accurate and complete records of student performance.
  • Actively problem solve class management issues that may arise
  • Other duties as assigned by Campus Manager and Campus Director.

Qualifications: (Meet One of the Following)

Option 1: Work Experience

At least 48 months (4 years) of work or teaching experience in the construction

management vocation within the past 10 years (combination of work and teaching

experience accepted).

Option 2: Experience and Credentials

At least 24 months (2 years) of experience, within the previous 10 years, working or

teaching in the vocation,

PLUS one of the following:

o An Ontario Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).

o A Certificate of Qualification issued under the Ontario College of Trades and

Apprenticeship Act, 2009 (or equivalent Canadian certificate).

o Graduation status from an Ontario college of applied arts and technology or

registered career college (or equivalent institution).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay Rate: $28-30 per hour

Work Location: Remote
