Senior Technical Writer – Network & IT Infrastructure

Contract Duration: 3 Years

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer – Network & IT Infrastructure to create, maintain, and enhance enterprise technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of networking, infrastructure technologies, and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and structured documentation.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technical writing experience within enterprise IT environments.
  • Strong understanding of network and infrastructure concepts including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, cloud networking, and data center environments.
  • Experience creating:
  • High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents
  • Network diagrams
  • SOPs, runbooks, operational guides, and knowledge articles
  • Ability to collaborate with network engineers, architects, security teams, and IT operations teams.
  • Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, Visio, Lucidchart, Jira, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent written and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience documenting AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and enterprise change management.
  • Exposure to cybersecurity documentation and infrastructure modernization projects.
  • Technical certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, or cloud certifications are an asset.
