Located in a newly developed residential area with limited access to nearby family physicians, the clinic continues to experience strong demand for primary care services.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician to join our established team.
This is a unique opportunity to replace a departing physician and take over an existing practice providing the incoming physician with an established patient panel from the beginning. In addition, the clinic has a substantial and growing waitlist of patients actively seeking a family doctor, offering the opportunity to expand the practice quickly based on the physician’s preferred capacity.
The ideal candidate will be committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care to patients of all ages and will enjoy working within a supportive, collaborative clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care and the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Assume care of an established patient roster
- Accept additional patients from the clinic’s existing waitlist based on the physician’s preferred practice size and availability.
- Establish and maintain strong physician-patient relationships based on trust, respect, and empathy.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated and integrated patient care.
- Use the clinic’s electronic medical record system for efficient clinical documentation and communication.
- Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and continuing medical education activities.
- Participate in rotating after-hours or same-day clinic coverage, where applicable, to support patient access and provide additional income opportunities.
- No cost to transfer patient roster.

Qualifications
- Licensed to practise medicine in Ontario and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient-centred care.
