Contract Workday Performance, Learning and Talent Consultant

Location: Canada preferred

Working arrangement: Remote

Allocation: Approximately 15 hours per week

Overview

We are supporting a new Workday Performance, Learning and Talent implementation for an existing Workday customer.

The client is already live with Core HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Canada Payroll and US Payroll. They are now looking for a hands-on Workday Performance, Learning and Talent Consultant to lead the deployment.

This is a full implementation covering discovery, design, configuration, testing and go-live. It is not an AMS or post-production support role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Workday Performance, Learning and Talent implementation.
  • Gather requirements and configure Performance, Learning and Talent processes.
  • Advise stakeholders on best practice across Performance, Learning and Talent.
  • Connect Performance, Learning and Talent processes with Workday Compensation.
  • Support design, configuration, testing, deployment and go-live.
  • Act as the Workday Performance, Learning and Talent SME.

Required Experience

  • Strong hands-on Workday Performance, Learning and Talent implementation experience.
  • Experience leading Performance, Learning and Talent workstreams.
  • Strong Workday configuration experience across Performance, Learning and Talent.
  • Understanding of how Performance, Learning, Talent and Compensation connect.
  • Full implementation experience rather than mainly AMS or support work.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently within a fast-moving project.

Preferred Experience

  • Workday Performance, Learning or Talent certification.
  • Previous consulting or subcontracting experience.
  • Based in Canada.
  • Able to travel occasionally to Calgary.
