Driver

MSALABS is an experienced global provider of geochemical laboratory services to the exploration and mining industries in Canada, the USA and around the world. We have a rapidly growing network of laboratories in key mining regions around the world to limit lead times and transit costs and we employ the latest hi-tech analysis equipment.

We are currently looking for a driver for our Grand-Falls Windsor Lab.

Duties:

• Driving light vehicles and buses according to the instructions given by supervisor and adhering to site safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure that there is no damage to cars or employees.
• Submitting full reports on risks and accidents.
• Follow all HSE protocols and attend the occupational safety and health meeting.
• Maintaining the company’s car engine.
• Ensuring that no one from outside the company rides in cars.
• Maintain vehicle records.
• Ensure maintenance of the company’s cars on a regular basis, including housekeeping and inspection of the car.
• Reporting all defects inside the car.
• Assisting the administration in handing over site permits.
• Accompanying any contractor inside the site.

Requirements:

• Able to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
• Detail orientated and ability to work very well under pressure.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Car driving skills
• Full knowledge of the roads.
• Physical ability to drive for long time
• Ability to use GPS
• A minimum of 2 or 3 years’ experience in the same position
