Borealis performs service work, delivers fuel to customers, and operates a network of bulk transport vehicles across North America.</p></br></br><h3>Job Description</h3></br></br><h3>Summary</h3></br><p>This position will be vital to the businesss day-to-day and long-term goals. The individual must be highly motivated and able to work in a flexible environment. This position will mainly be responsible for fuel deliveries and also helping with new tank installations. Customer service is emphasized here, as this is a key role for Borealis.</p></br></br><h3>Duties & Responsibilities</h3></br><ul></br><li>Support Borealis’ vision for LPG service excellence in Central Alberta</li></br><li>Operate the bulk truck for fuel deliveries, which includes:</br><ul></br><li>climbing in and out of the truck safely multiple times per day (up to 30 or more);</li></br><li>pulling the delivery hose to tanks up to 150 feet away in snow, up and down hills if required;</li></br><li>lifting and installing heavy-duty tire chains (approx. 60 lbs) if required in the winter;</li></br><li>interface with MOGO in the bulk truck;</li></br><li>Facilitate orders through the on-board truck computer system</li></br></ul></br></li></br><li>Assist in the installation of new Borealis tanks when required and operate the crane truck, which includes:</br><ul></br><li>climbing on the crane truck deck to install and remove rigging;</li></br><li>safely operate the crane (experience and training may be required)</li></br></ul></br></li></br><li>Evacuate the fuel in competitor tanks (customer-owned fuel) and return tanks to competitors yards when required;<br/></li></br></ul></br></br><h3>Education/Experience</h3></br><ul></br><li>Minimum High School Diploma</li></br><li>Class 1 or 3 drivers licence with Air Brake endorsement</li></br><li>Crane truck experience is an asset.</li></br><li>Bulk handling, bottle fill PTI-recognized courses (Borealis will provide training), Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)<br/></li></br></ul></br></br><h3>Position Requirements</h3></br><ul></br><li>Knowledge of the LPG/fuel industry</li></br><li>Proficient with computers and office software</li></br><li>Exceptional communication and time management skills.</li></br><li>Multitasking and the ability to work with teams.</li></br><li>Solid knowledge of the Alberta Oil and Gas industry is an asset</li></br><li>Communication and self-organization skills, a hands-on mentality</li></br><li>Attention to detail and a self-starter</li></br><li>Fit for duty and physically able to perform the above duties safely.<br/></li></br></ul></div>
