Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain interactive Power BI and/or Tableau dashboards and reports.
  • Write complex and optimized SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
  • Gather and document business intelligence and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions.
  • Create KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and automated reporting solutions.
  • Perform data validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and quality checks.
  • Combine data from multiple sources to provide comprehensive business insights.
  • Develop data models and reporting datasets for BI solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and data quality.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Monitor dashboard and report performance and resolve data-related issues.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and business reporting requests.
  • Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, data sources, and business metrics.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Power BI DAX and Power Query.
  • Experience with Tableau calculated fields and Tableau Prep.
  • Knowledge of Python for data analysis is an asset.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or similar data platforms.
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and tools.
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
  • Experience working with CRM, ERP, finance, sales, or operational datasets.
