POSITION DESCRIPTION
FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for a<br/><br/>application solution architect<br/><br/>motivated to deliver on mandates. The main assignments would be to design the application architecture of solutions (components, services, APIs, integrations) while embedding performance, security and maintainability requirements; produce architecture documents; recommend appropriate technologies; and guide development teams to ensure compliance with the target.<br/><br/>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<br/><br/>Design the application architecture of solutions: components, layers, services and APIs.<br/><br/>Define design patterns, integration models and reuse mechanisms.<br/><br/>Assess and recommend application technologies, frameworks and software packages.<br/><br/>Produce application architecture documents and design specifications.<br/><br/>Embed performance, security, maintainability and scalability requirements.<br/><br/>Guide development teams and validate compliance with the target architecture.<br/><br/>Collaborate with functional, data, technology and security architects.<br/><br/>CANDIDATE PROFILE<br/><br/>University degree in computer science, management or any related discipline.<br/><br/>Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience in information technology.<br/><br/>Minimum five (05) years of experience as an Application Solution Architect.<br/><br/>Experience with one of the following frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DSDM, SAFe, Nexus.<br/><br/>Hold one of the following certifications: PL-600, AZ-305, AWS Certified Solutions Architect.<br/><br/>Hold one of the following Agile certifications (an asset): CSM, PSM I, PSM II, A-CSM, SAFe Scrum Master etc.<br/><br/>Experience with one of the following tools: Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence.<br/><br/>Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.<br/><br/>Language: French and English<br/><br/>WORK MODE<br/><br/>Remote, Hybrid, On-site<br/><br/>WHAT WE OFFER<br/><br/>At FOP CONSULTANTS, we invest in the success and well-being of our experts.
