Description

The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales and achieving profitability targets within a designated geographic region. This role involves coordinating all sales and marketing activities, promoting the ILD’s products and services, and developing strong customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction. The Account Manager is also expected to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed regional sales goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining confidentiality regarding ILD’s proprietary methods and trademarks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and project execution from inquiry through contract completion.
  • Prepare accurate pricing estimates based on project scope and specifications under the guidance of leadership, and escalate complex pricing as needed.
  • Partner with the Project Coordinator to create tailored proposals and follow up on previous submissions.
  • Support client’s post-proposal acceptance by clearly communicating next steps and connecting them with the appropriate ILD team members.
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual sales goals while contributing to ILD’s broader strategic objectives through market and client insights.
  • Lead client and internal negotiations with professionalism, maintaining strong relationships and delivering mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Participate in national and international trade shows, manage follow-up communications, and assist in identifying new event opportunities.
  • Deliver effective sales presentations across various formats and audiences, communicating clearly and adapting to audience needs in real-time.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or related field (specialization in sales preferred).
  • 3+ years’ experience in Sales / Account Management.
  • 3+ years’ experience within the Roofing / Construction industry.
  • Extensive customer service experience in assessing and evaluating customer needs and satisfaction.
  • Experience demonstrating, promoting, and selling products / services.
  • Knowledge and experience with marketing / sales strategy and tactics.
  • Experience with MS Office, as well as Customer Relationship Management software.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
