About Forge:

Forge builds automated CNC factories that enable mechanical engineers to go from CAD to physical part 2x faster than anyone else. We take engineer’s ideas and turn them into finished prototypes within 4 days or less. Our first factory has been running for 1 year and we have shipped thousands of parts to engineers all over North America. We’re looking for people who are interested in manufacturing and speeding up hardware development.

What we need help with:

As Forge scales, we need someone who can own the day-to-day financial and administrative backbone of the business. This role is critical to keeping cash flowing, vendors paid, customers invoiced correctly, and internal operations running smoothly. We work with Fortune 10 companies, down to small startups so being organized, flexible, and up to date on our finances is critical.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys ownership, structure, and building clean processes in a growing company.

About the Role:

You’ll be responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, bookkeeping, and general business administration (hiring docs, contracts, file management). You’ll work closely with the founders and operations team to keep everything organized, accurate, and on time.

This role is ideal for someone who likes being close to the business and wants visibility into how a modern manufacturing startup actually runs.

Specifically, you will:

  • Manage accounts receivable: customer invoicing, payment tracking, and follow-ups
  • Manage accounts payable: vendor bills, payment scheduling, and expense tracking
  • Maintain clean, accurate bookkeeping records (QuickBooks right now)
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and monthly statements
  • Support month-end close and basic financial reporting
  • Handle general business administration (documents, filings, coordination with external accountants)
  • Manage communication with shipping vendors (Fedex disputes, late shipments, etc)
  • Help improve and document internal finance and admin processes as we scale

What we want to see

  • Experience with bookkeeping, accounting admin, or finance operations
  • Hands-on experience with AR, AP, and invoicing
  • Comfortable working with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Interest in manufacturing, startups, or operations (no CNC experience required).
  • Someone who thrives in a little bit of chaos, company is growing quick and there are a lot of moving parts

Pay: $65,000 – $100,000K/year based on experience + equity
