Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Heavy-Duty Field Mechanic to join our team and provide expert repair and maintenance services for agricultural equipment. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty farm machinery while ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance & Repair
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural equipment sold by the dealership.
  • Recondition and repair machine systems and components to manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery and electronic systems.
  • Install and configure new equipment based on specifications and customer needs.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of technical and product knowledge.
  • Field Service & Customer Support
  • Respond promptly to service calls and provide on-site support at customer locations.
  • Identify and implement solutions for customer service opportunities in the dealership’s service area.
  • Train customers on proper equipment use and maintenance.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of tools and parts for service calls.
  • Conduct oneself professionally to uphold a positive dealership image.
  • Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary reports and forms related to work assignments.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve service processes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson Certificate – Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) or Agricultural Equipment Technician (AET).
  • Strong mechanical skills with hands-on repair experience.
  • Own set of tools.
  • Strong computer skills for diagnostics and reporting.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract (required for travel).
  • Graduation from a diesel or agricultural technology program (preferred).
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
